ANIMO was established in 2025 by Felix Lopez, a recovering addict.
After years of drug and alcohol abuse and being diagnosed with the early stages of cirrhosis, he made the life-changing decision to check himself into a spiritual rehabilitation facility in Mexico City. For seven months, he committed to a strict diet, intense discipline, and deep self-reflection. During his stay, one word was heard daily — “Ánimo.” A Spanish expression of encouragement, strength, and perseverance. It means keep going. Don’t quit. Stay strong.
That word became more than motivation — it became a mindset.
When the process was over, sobriety, discipline, and hunger were embedded in his spirit.
In a time filled with hate, addiction, and division, ANIMO stands as an anthem — a reminder to push forward when the odds are against you.
